• GENERAL OBJECTIVE
The V2Market project aims to incorporate the capacity of electric vehicle batteries as an element of flexibility in the electrical system through its integration into the electricity market, making proposals for new business models derived from the active participation of consumers and fleets of electric vehicles using V2G and V2B technologies.
The consortium of the European V2Market project is made up of nine different entities, among others: market operator, marketers and aggregators, public entities and fleets of electric vehicles.
• THE ROLE OF OMIE
OMIE as Nominated Electricity Market Operator (NEMO) will provide knowledge on the operation and regulation of the electricity market. In addition, OMIE will make available to the project the new negotiation platforms for the new local and flexibility markets, providing price signals to the owners or aggregators of electric vehicles seeking to incorporate the V2G and V2B flexibility services to the new market models.
